1. Homemade Face Moisturizer with Aloe Vera

The main ingredient of this moisturizer is aloe vera. Aloe vera can rejuvenate fibroblast cells in the skin, which helps keep skin looking young, and also protects against UV radiation which damages the skin.

 

Aloe vera isn’t the only amazing ingredient however, almond oil also has lots of great properties: it is rich in vitamin E and D, soothes irritated skin, relieves dry and chapped skin and helps delay the aging process.

Aloe vera and almond oil moisturizer will not only keep the skin soft and supple, but will help tighten up the skin and remove wrinkles. These two ingredients together form a wonderfully simple moisturizer for normal skin.

In order to make this homemade face moisturizer, you will need:

  • 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
  • 2 tablespoons of almond oil

Directions:

  • Simply take a clean cup or bowl and add the aloe gel and oils in, then mix it well.
  • Melt the coconut oil slowly and add it to the mixture.

2. Homemade Face Moisturizer with Coconut Oil

This moisturizer contains 5 ingredients: coconut oil, almond oil, cocoa butter, frankincense essential oil, and lavender essential oil.

 

Coconut oil moisturizes, softens, and has excellent anti-aging properties. Almond oil contains antioxidants and vitamin E. Cocoa butter delivers more moisture and antioxidants. Frankincense essential oil promotes regeneration of healthy cells. Last, but not least, lavender oil fights acne, reduces redness, and soothes skin.

Not only is this homemade face moisturizer awesome for you, it is super easy to make.

In order to make this homemade face moisturizer, you will need:

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon of almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa butter
  • 5 drops of frankincense essential oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

Directions:

  • Place all ingredients in the bowl of your stand mixer.
  • Whip on high for 4-5 minutes until it is light and fluffy, scrape down the sides of the bowl occasionally to include all of it.
  • Transfer contents to a small jar with a tight fitting lid.
  • Use after each time you wash your face to moisturize.

Note: When left in very warm temperatures (like those in your bathroom) this moisturizer may soften to nearly melting. You can consider storing it in the refrigerator; it could be refreshing to the skin especially in the summer.
